Oskee Wee Wee! A Fall Classic for Kindertown's First Annual Family Game Day
I've Got 99 Preschool Problems, But Biting Ain't One!
We really couldn’t have hoped for a better day of football. The Hamilton sun was shining, there was a cool autumn breeze and the Tiger-Cat’s had come ready to play!
Our day started off at Kindertown, where families and a bunch of new fans piled onto the school bus heading towards Tim Horton’s Field. As we got closer to the field, the anticipation for the days event continued to grow.
Separation Anxiety: Hard Letting Go
During their early years, children are learning about themselves, the people around them, and the social cues that make up their world. When they come to Kindertown, each child is exploring this knowledge alongside their peers, and sometimes, with ten to twenty children developing their own unique personalities at the same time, things can get quite interesting.
A Day in the Life of a K-Towner
Especially on ‘first days’, separation between parents and their child can be a heart-wrenching experience. At Kindertown, we like to think we’ve seen it all, but each year we quickly learn that every child and every family express themselves differently.
Getting Ready to be a K-Towner!
Summer has come to an end and with that, another year of learning, growing and teaching has quickly approached. After almost twenty-five years in operation, us here at Kindertown like to think we have this sort-of-thing down to a science, but each September is full of new and sometimes challenging surprises.
We realize that first weeks can be tough, but it is important to remember that this is a major milestone for your family, and the beginning of many more to come.
