Kindertown's curriculum aims to encourage exploration, create knowledge and inspire innovation.
Equipped with an evolving knowledge of Ontario’s How Does Learning Happen, Kindertown educators have come to embrace their role as researcher, learner and educator. By using our unique learning environments, materials and emphasis on play-based learning, we help guide and foster each child’s intuitive skillset, interests and potential. By actively engaging, observing and documenting how this learning happens in the classroom, Kindertown educators are able to implement responsive, interactive, and intuitive programming. To ensure our students are well rounded and school ready, we focus this exploration further by integrating foundational concepts, such as numeracy and literacy, into our student’s everyday.
As a family-run center, it is in our nature to cultivate authentic, caring relationships and connections among and between children, adults and the world around them.
We believe that each child should be confident, self-assured, and self-aware. To help nurture these qualities: safety, well-being and healthy development is at the heart of all we do.
