Since opening our doors 25 years ago, good food has always been part of who we are at Kindertown Childcare Centre. In those early days, Mrs. Lisa served up home-cooked meals reminiscent of those she fondly remembered growing up in Southern Italy. Over the last two decades, we have expanded our menu to reflect the many diverse tastes, cultures and healthy lifestyles reflective of our ever-growing community.
Most recently, with the addition of Red Seal Certified Chef Alyssa and our sustainable quarter acre KinderGarden, we have become super local, producing our own vegetables for snacks and lunch. More than that, we are using the very act of eating to teach our children the importance of nutritious, healthy and sustainable local foods.
