What's Cooking at Kindertown

Kindertown has always believed in the value of a fresh home cooked meal. From traditional Italian dishes, inspired by Mrs. Lisa’s own recipes, to more contemporary takes on classics, like Chef Alyssa’s black bean veggie sliders or teriyaki stir-fry, tasty and nutritious food has always been important to us.

Delivering fresh, wholesome and delicious foods that kids enjoy eating are only one part of our approach to food. With our evolving menu, we try to pull children out of their comfort zone by introducing new tastes, flavours and smells. When possible, we use only the freshest ingredients, something made a lot easier in the summer with our own quarter acre urban garden.

Along with providing kids daily meals, we hope to educate them, and their families, on the importance of healthy eating habits, where their food comes from, and how it’s made.

Of course, when requested, we do our best to meet any type of dietary issues, concerns or preferences that parents may have. More importantly, we encourage parents to provide us with their suggestions on how we can make our menu better!

  • Stuffed Pepper Soup and Toast

  • Vegetables and Cheese Quiche with Roasted Potatoes

  • White Fish Patties with Mixed Vegetables
